Meaning you&#8217;re not confident in what you&#8217;re saying, and that you&#8217;re nervous.<\/p>\n<p>The best thing you can do in those situations is to say nothing.\u00a0This shows that you think about what you say, and that you choose your words carefully.<\/p>\n<p>You&#8217;re in control and you&#8217;re prepared to take your time to share your views &#8211; because they matter.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step #3: Test it out<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Before you go using\u00a0your new alpha male dominant voice with your friends and family, make sure you have it right first.\u00a0Try it out with some strangers. A Deeper Voices have\u00a0Deeper Impact<\/h2>\n<p>There&#8217;s an old cliche that suggests the deeper your voice the more manly you are &#8211;\u00a0and according to recent studies there may be some truth to it.<\/p>\n<p>A deeper voice is the key if you want to get ahead in two areas:\u00a0<strong>business and politics.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s why:<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Deeper Voices and Business<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>In a study conducted in 2013 by the University of California and Duke University[1], up to 800 CEOs were analysed giving speeches and had the pitches of their voice measured against their success.<\/p>\n<p>The results were very interesting, with deeper voiced CEOs\u00a0appearing to run much more profitable businesses.<\/p>\n<p>In fact, the averages showed CEOs would have around $187,000 less than CEOs with a 25% lower, more dominant voice, and stayed in their jobs for longer.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Deeper Voices and Politics<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>The same has been noted numerous times when it comes to politics.<\/p>\n<p>Research has shown that from 1960 to 2000, every US-presidential election has been won by the candidate with the lower voice.
