Through careful analysis of tissue sample biopsies, muscle fibers were seen <strong>regenerating and repairing themselves<\/strong> &#8211; triggered when D3 levels were at their highest.<\/p>\n<p>The original study, carried out a few years ago in Utah&#8217;s Orthopedic Specialty Hospital [1] \u00a0monitored how the supplementation of Vitamin D3 affected muscle soreness.<\/p>\n<p>28 days before inducing the soreness, participants were split into two groups, one taking 4000IU D3 a day, and another taking a placebo. The study was double blind, so neither group knew what they were taking to avoid effecting the study.<\/p>\n<p>The muscle soreness was induced on a horizontal pylo-press (think\u00a0a leg press with a jump).
